Just had my physics core just now and I'm not sure whether I should be happy or not. It was actually a manageable paper in my perspective but still it was hard. So probably I shouldnt be happy. But knowing that I only have 6 more days until all this exam sh*t is over, I'm sort of relieved. And better yet, all the tough papers are finished with only Physics Paper 5 in the way. WOOOOO.

Here's a cool vid I found on youtube. Its an homage to John Williams titled "star wars". LOL!

Wookie Wookie!

Anything For The Greater Good

on 9/08/2008 04:29:00 PM
One a half hour left til 'sahur'. Yup I can't sleep. Stupid coffee.

Wow its been a while, don't you think?

Lots happened to me since I last blogged: A level results, basketball, qualifying exam results, fasting, SMARTER, license and so on. But I bet nobody wants to read about those kind of things. But if you continue on reading, I'd bet you'd rather read about them instead.

Wherever I go now I see people playing with rubiks cubes. Seems to be the in-thing right now. What's also the in-thing is Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, especially among the girls (I think I've only seen girls reading them though). Probably I'll just stick with the comic books. Just kidding haha. I've been reading a few books too. Not the kind of books most people would enjoy though. I've been reading 'The Audacity of Hope' by Barack Obama (thanks mom).

First of all, I'm reading it not because I've got nothing to do. Secondly, I wanted to read it. Lastly, its very inspiring. He's the embodiment of a true politician/leader. Gifted with charisma and oratory skills, he envisions a new kind of politics, where everyone is unified in saving a nation. That gives him my utmost respect. Rather than succumbing to mainstream segregation, one should always consider and prioritize unification for the greater good. Thats what I think. He reiterates the use of the phrases 'Yes we can' and 'we want change'. Renewed hope has appeared. Hopefully this man can help change the world for the better which is one thing I aspire to do also. But I've got a very long way to go before I can reach his level.

Now you're bored to the max. You're thinking: "Nearly a month's long hiatus and this is all he has to offer". I'd hate to say it but I told you so (second paragraph last sentence).

Inspiring words from an inspirational man (from his New Hampshire speech - made into a song by Will.i.am):

Yes we can to justice and equality.
Yes we can to opportunity and prosperity.
Yes we can repair this world.

We know the battle ahead will be long, but always remember that no matter what obstacles stand in our way, nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices calling for change.

We’ve been asked to pause for a reality check. We’ve been warned against offering the people of this nation false hope. But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope.

Its been a rather "fun" week. Just finished our qualifiers. *Hope I get into the finals*.
It was actually very disappointing. I was hoping the A-level results for June 2008 to come out before my history paper but it didn't T_T. If it did probably I could've studied physics more.

*insert what you wanna read here*

Here are some pics:
